Job Descriptions
Bartender
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Creating cocktails and mixed drinks
• Set up bar displays at private events
• Manage orders to ensure timely service to patrons
• Keep bar area clean and sanitized
• Interact with customers in a friendly, professional manner
• Employees must show up for shifts they accept and have a great attitude with strong customer service skills.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
• Have Bar set up knowledge and able to mix standard cocktails
• Have their own bartending tools
• Be available to work on weekends and evenings
• Have reliable transportation to travel to event locations
• For certain placements a Uniform is required (collard white tuxedo shirt, black tuxedo pants, black dress shoes and black bowtie)
• TIPS Certification is required
• Lifting and carrying is required at some events
Line Cook
EDH is hiring part-time Line Cooks to prepare food using recipes and menu items created by the Head Chef and help to keep the kitchen running smoothly.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations
• Preparing food including cleaning and cutting the ingredients and cooking main dishes, desserts, appetizers and snacks
• Plating prepared foods based on senior chef’s guidance
• Working with servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time
• Serving at Buffet Stations
• Washing and cleaning the kitchen and cooking utensils and storing the equipment at the end of shifts
• Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
• Professional and responsible conduct
• Comfortable in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
• Team work skills
• Must be available to work on weekends and evenings
• Reliable transportation is required
• Lifting and carrying is required at some events
Server
El Dorado Hospitality is hiring part-time Servers for events at Banquet Halls and Private locations. Suitable applicants will be given opportunities to improve their skills. Servers are allowed to accept tips.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Carrying tray of food and serving to correct customer
• Understanding of menu being offered at the event
• Carrying and serving cocktails
• Interacting with customers in a friendly professional manner
• Standing for long periods of time
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
• Have basic table service knowledge
• Show up for shifts they accept
• Have a great attitude
• Be able to work on weekends and evenings
• Have reliable transportation
• T.I.P.S certification & Food Hygiene is an asset
