El Dorado Hospitality’s Tasting events are designed to give you and your family, friends or colleagues an opportunity to sample and learn about wines, spirits and beers.
Wine Tasting
El Dorado Hospitality’s Wine Tastings are events that provide wine novices and enthusiasts alike the opportunity to sample a range of wines. The events can be very much like classes (seated, seminar-like events), or they can be a more informal gathering.
Wine-tasting parties can be geared to a selected region, or varietal or choose a theme to guide you with wine selections. For example, we can take a tour of Napa Valley, or a specific country. El Dorado Hospitality will pick a selection of wines in different price ranges to fit your budget. We can also provide you with palate cleansers or give you a list of nibbles to supply.
Spirit Tasting
Let El Dorado Hospitality bring you a sampling of some of the finest whiskeys in the comfort of your own home. EDH provides you and your guests with a tasting cross section of whiskeys from scotch to rye to bourbon. For those with a more seasoned palate EDH creates a focused tasting that provides samples based on age and flavor profile/finish. You’ll learn about the history of the whiskey, the aging process unique to the spirit and finishes such as wine, rum or brandy casks. Cigars often enhance whiskey tastings and EDH can provide a suggested list of fine cigars to accompany the tasting.
Not a whiskey drinker? Let El Dorado Hospitality create a Tequila, Gin or Rum tasting event for you and your friends. Learn about the history of the spirit, aging process, the impact of ice and mixers.
